*Please note: Most 1996 and newer gasoline or 1997 and newer diesel cars and light trucks can be connected to the Kiosk via a Diagnostic Link Connector (DLC). Some exceptions are listed here.
Holiday Closure
All Ohio E-Check Full-Service Stations will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026 in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday. The stations will reopen on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 8:00 AM. Most self-service kiosks will be available for your testing convenience.
Scheduled Maintenance Please be Aware
Due to a software upgrade, the Ohio E-Check Private Inspection Facilities (participating repair shops) will temporarily suspend testing on Friday June 19 through Sunday June 21, to reopen on Monday June 22, at their regularly scheduled operating hours.
The Full-Service test stations and Self-Service Kiosks will remain open during normal hours of operation the entire weekend. For a full list of Kiosk locations, please visit our website at www.ohioecheck.info under the E-Check tab on the blue bar. If you visit the BMV to register your vehicle, be sure to take the test report with you.

Offering 21 Self-Service Kiosk Locations
For your convenience, Ohio E-Check is now offering 21 self-service locations, that are available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
To view the full list of Kiosk locations, please click the E-Check tab on the blue bar above and select Self-Service Kiosk in the drop-down menu. This will take you to the Self-Service Kiosk page that has a brief description of the kiosk operation and has locations of all 21 Self-Service Kiosks available for testing. If a kiosk is unavailable for testing, this web page will also provide the kiosk status.
